the term “porch pounder” refers to a light, refreshing wine that’s gluggable enough to crush on a patio from AM to PM. This, however, is MOSTLY just a marketing resource.
001 / the video

this creator completely blows me away with her editing style — a blend of simple clips combined to bring us through a recipe process with glimpses into other parts of her routine and atmosphere. there’s something about this that feels so sensory, bringing in smells and textures, at at the same time, it feels so grounded. the magic is in the clips that were chosen and the way they were combined, and the moments she chose to include (the dripping honey! the sweating ice cube!). even amidst the gorgeous shots and stunning lighting there are glimpses of life that feel raw and relatable. I think the introduction of sporadic tiktok native text helps with this too!
something I also love about this is that she’s combined several lifestyle bits — fragrance, home, cooking — into a style that doesn’t fit into the mould of any one of those niches but brings them together into something that’s completely unique. (this is exactly why I recommend seeking inspo from outside your space and playing with content styles that are uncommon for the industry you’re in, btw).
(PS. I’m having deja vu that I already shared this other video of hers somewhere, but it’s great so you can have it again!)
002 / the photo

looooove this photo series documenting a move! so simple to put together and this same format could be used in SO many creative ways to chronicle any journey (maybe it’s a launch? a shopping trip? a recipe? friends coming to visit?). it plays out like a day in the life but it feels SO much more engaging than your typical “spend 24h with me in [ blank ]” framing. I’ll def be keeping this idea on hand for future content of my own, too!!! friendly reminder that it never hurts to credit the place you found something, so if you do end up being inspired by it, throw the creator a tag!

I absolutely loooooved this post for about a bajillion reasons — first, it’s just gorgeous stunning beautiful to look at. but ALSOOOO, the prose is incredible. BUT ALSO! the way it’s laid out makes it really easy to read and flow through. it feels like such a relaxing journey, swiping slide to slide, the simplicity of the designs juxtaposed with the depth of the language. I’m also obsessed with the fact that it’s a reflection off the back of a community experience, because it’s a reminder that the ways we’re actively enriching ourselves creatively can become catalysts for what we decide to express + share in our own spaces.
