the term “porch pounder” refers to a light, refreshing wine that’s gluggable enough to crush on a patio from AM to PM. This, however, is MOSTLY just a marketing resource.
happpppyyyy monday friend!! I’m so excited to be back with a classic porch pounder, stacked with content inspo to support you through the week — but proceed with caution:
something I’ve been hearing from a lot of folks in my spaces lately is a discrepancy between your desire to create and your capacity to create things.
inspiration and ideas aren’t the problem, right now… but actually having the time and space to explore them the way they deserve, so you can share at the caliber you’re envisioning? thaaaat’s the sticky part.
you have more to say than you could ever actually post, which ironically leads to posting not much at all. you’re in a standoff with your content calendar that feels like stagnancy, even though your idea bank has been more active than ever.
the secret here is to simplify: strip it way way waaaaay down this week.
choose one platform to focus on, and prioritize execution for the next few days — any time that you would have spent thinking about your content, put it towards actually making something.
promise yourself you won’t do ANYYYY more planning or ideating until you’re actually moving your ideas from your content bank → your public feed.
momentum matters more than ANYTHING (more than strategy! more than sales!) because it gives us the information we need to do both of those things WELL. the difference between a pretty notion dashboard filled with best-laid plans and a strategy that makes your goals reality is PUTTING IT INTO MOTION.
you won’t learn anything about what your community engages with (and invests in!) by staring at your ideas, wondering how to start without ever actually starting.
so, start.
if something inspires you in this post, don’t stash it away for later. put it into action right now. and if you need help figuring out how to do that, slide into my DMs. I’m here to help!
001 / the video

selfishly, one of the best little side effects of hosting life of the party is the fresh energy I get to find on my newsfeed as the students start rolling out their strategies. the winter 2026 crew just wrapped last week and this reel from one of the guests, Tonya, exemplifies a level of artistry and perspective we all have been craving more of on our explore pages. I love that this video style is relatively accessible (compared to having to film something entirely from scratch) to create because it can use clips already on the camera roll paired with a script and yet it still comes through SO artfully. you can feel the love + intention poured into every video and word, and that is only engagement hack you’ll ever need.
002 / the photo

summer is peak photo dump season and I already know we’ll be seeing more and more image collections with no text overlays throughout the coming months, so as you start thinking about what to share, keep this stunning buffet from Cynthia in your saves folder. I adore how full of personality, life, and energy everything she’s chosen is, beginning with the most captivating, joy-filled video to kick it all off. through the rest of the images she strikes an amazing balance between sharing atmosphere and objects (but still making sure every other photo or so there’s a picture of her face to remind you who’s gorgeous life you’re witnessing!). the most critical piece of the puzzle here is the caption, though — I adore the way she reflects on her recent experiences without forcing any lists of lessons or obvious calls to action. this is an exemplification of leadership lifestyle in action: living in your values and knowing that’s enough.
003 / the graphic

one of the questions that comes up most often social life is how to repurpose long-form content into other platforms, and this post from one of the members ximena couldn’t be a more shining example. she’s crafted a deeply artistic, original, and engaging post for instagram — but it was inspired by the substack article that explores the same topic. the IG post is it’s own immersive experience, full of texture and mixed media, giving us enough information to spark curiosity and understand the perspective she’s sharing. if we want to keep diving deeper into the piece on substack we can, but the short-form post isn’t lacking as a standalone. to approach your own content in this way, think about this: if I’m sharing the same topic in two places, what unique experience can I create in each that aligns with the way these communities consume content, respectively?
004 / the episode(s)
the past two weeks in podcast land have been SUCH juicy ones. last week on love you to the core, I hosted sara from between the lines to get ALLLLLL the tea on her robust long-form content strategy, and then me and kaitlyn recorded a super fun wanting in public episode around ways we’re gentle-parenting ourselves towards success in this season. new episodes drop weekly on both shows, so make sure you’re following so you don’t miss the next!
