the term “porch pounder” refers to a light, refreshing wine that’s gluggable enough to crush on a patio from AM to PM. This, however, is MOSTLY just a marketing resource.
001 / the video

I LOOOOOVE a multi-niche creator and this video is such a perfect example. zoe combines her expertise in yoga + breathwork with her fucking stellar fashion sense, and the hook she uses here positions those two things together in a way that is super not confusing at all and reminds us why it’s completely fine and easy and REALLLLLLY FUN to allow all our interests to co-exist on our content. OKAY?!

this is absolutely all-star photo buffet (quite literally) from a buzzy barcelona brunch spot. I LOVE taking cues from the hospitality world when it comes to sharing imagery. it’s often such a core piece of their content strategy which encourages them to innovate even with a “limited” medium, and this is such a prime example of how a BUNCH OF PICS AND VIDEOS CAN BE DONE IN A COMPLETELY UN-BORING WAY. the things that make this so engaging are the mixed media (photos x videos) but also the styling of the slides and the placement of them: the second slide IMMEDIATELY keeps you interested because it’s so unexpected, and then there are plenty more surprise + delight moments throughout (a few of which can easily be recreated just by screen recording while you’re taking photos on your camera app!)
003 / the graphic

LET ME TELL YOU WHY I LOVE THIS POST SO MUCH: first of all, it subtly repurposes content from one medium to another in a way that doesn’t dilute the value (in fact, it reinvents it). while the original videos are packed with insightful reflection and humour around a specific topic, these graphics pull lines that can stand alone and become saveable reminders ANDDDD highly highly shareable bits. where a vlog requires longer to sit and absorb (and you may be less likely to share it with a friend, given that they’d have to watch the whole thing to get the full impact) something like this is SO easy to pass along to someone you know needs to hear it, introducing them to the creator with a lower barrier to entry so they can follow + dive deeper later. the other reason is basically just…. chill. it’s a great way to get more traction from existing content (smarter not harder!) and the simple cheeky caption is the icing on the cake. try this if you create a lot of vlog content, have a podcast, post on youtube, write substack… ANY long-ish-form could be leveraged in this way!
