HAPPY 2026. we’re officially in a brand spanking new year and while I don’t subscribe to sunday scaries (we run our own businesses, we make the rules!!!!) this could be perceived as one of the scariest sundays of the year, if I did.

at min, we’re all starting to think about re-entering ~the real world~ tomorrow, and with that comes the pressure to start showing up on your platforms again.

but also, fuck that narrative.

can we all agree 2026 is the year of pressure-free posting? k. awesome. consider this email is the first step in that story.

a couple days ago, we talked about those essential time blocks that’ll ensure you prioritize your social media goals somethin’ majorrrr in the months ahead (it was in this email, ICYMI!) and then I shared my brand effing new content planning template (here if you didn’t snag it yet!) so you’ve got the systems part covered.

now the only question is… wtf are you actually posting?!

I figured you’ve got enough on your plate, so this is gonna answer that question for you. if you’re ready to ease back into socials but feeling all kinds of doubt-y (or rusty) when it comes to the deciding what to talk about bit, here’s a simple post schedule you can follow for the next week (or two, tbh!) ‘til your brain is back in biz.

post 001:

SIMPLE [INDUSTRY/NICHE] HABITS I’M TRYING ON THIS WEEK

everyone’s feeling the pressure to go hot-and-heavy at the start of the year, so counteract that intensity with a list of things you’re gently experimenting with, connecting it to your usual content themes + lanes so that it’s relevant to your industry and audience.

examples:

simple [time management] habits I’m trying on this week

simple [daily movement] habits I’m trying on this week

simple [home styling] habits I’m trying on this week

post 002:

IF YOUR GOAL IS [DESIRE] BY THE END OF 2026, [ACTION] RIGHT NOW

this is suuuch a perfect time of year to start growing your audience via goals-based content, so I def recommend weaving a post like this into the mix because you can position your account as a resource to help them reach their goal.

examples:

if your goal is to [get published] by the end of 2026, [start writing daily] now

if your goal is to [find love] by the end of 2026, [learn your attachment style] now

if your goal is to [do the splits] by the end of 2026, [do 5 minutes of stretching] now

post 003:

SOMEWHERE BETWEEN THEN AND NOW I [DESCRIBE TRANSFORMATION]

as we kick off the year, a little get-to-know-me moment is a great way to reconnect with your audience + remind them why they’re in your world (and why they want to stay!). this works especially well if you position the transformation as the same journey they’ll go through working with you.

examples:

somewhere between then and now I…

[stopped hiding my expertise + started sharing it on stages]

[got over my fear of flying and became a travel creator]

[realized the only person I needed to impress was myself]

post 004:

[IDEAS LIST] TO [GOAL] WITH [LIMITATION]

this one might sound familiar because it’s exactlyyyy the approach I took with this email — offering a posting schedule that will leave you space to focus back on your biz and start the year without any social media stress. what are your people feeling a lot of pressure around right now that you could alleviate with a lil’ schedge support?

examples:

[dinner recipes] to [feed picky kids] with [only 30 mins to cook]

[at-home workouts] to [feel stronger] with [no equipment]

[virtual date night ideas] to [feel more connected] with [a long-distance partner]

post 005:

WHAT I THOUGHT WOULD GET ME [GOAL] VS. WHAT ACTUALLY DID

this is a greeeeeaattttt time to offer support to folks who may be grasping at all kinds of straws as they chase big goals for the year ahead. what were the fads and trends and predatory tactics that you almost fell for until you knew better? they’re going to be seeing a lot of that same noise out there right now, so this is a great way to show them you’ve been in their shoes (and you can offer them a more sustainable way to reach their goals).

examples:

what I thought would get me [more followers] vs. what actually did

what I thought would get me [$10K recurring revenue] vs. what actually did

what I thought would get me [more fashion confidence] vs. what actually did

if you’re reading through all the ideas above and are like okay coooolll buuttttttt…

  1. how do I know what topics are actually interesting to my people
  2. when am I gonna get time to make these posts

well. you’ll want to check out Social Life 🙂
